If you want to build the Nether Portal in Minecraft, you can follow the instruction below:
- Build the Obsidian Frame
The base of the nether portal should be 4 obsidian wide, and the sides of the nether portal should be 5 obsidian high. You can build the frame like the picture below.
- Activate the Nether Portal
You can use either flint and steel or a fire charge to activate the portal. Once you have activated the portal, the center of the portal should glow and turn purple.
- Walkthrough the Nether Portal
Just walk through the purple area of the nether portal. You will be transported to the nether.
