Require Materials

If you want to make this item, you should collect the following materials:

  • Stick (2)
  • Wood Plank (1)

In Minecraft, there is any kind of Wood Planks. So, you can use Oak or other Wood Planks.

How to Craft a Wooden Shovel in Minecraft

If you had all the ingredients above, you can follow the step below. This is how to make a Wooden Shovel in Minecraft.

Total Time: 2 minutes

Open the Crafting Table

First, you need to open the crafting table if you want to make a new item. Then, the grids will appear on your screen.

Add the Ingredients

The same as we said before, you can craft a Wooden Shovel by 2 Sticks and 1 Wood Plank. You need to put the ingredients in the exact pattern of the recipe. You can see the image below for more.

Place a Wood Plank in the middle-box of the first row. Then, place a Stick in the middle-box of the second row. Last, place one more Stick in the middle-box of the third row.

Finish

After place all the ingredients, you’ll see a Wooden Shovel in the right box of the crafting table. So, now you can save it in your inventory or use it to start digging.
