The MCU Fantastic Four Cast remains unknown as of now, while the team leader revealed Doctor Strange 2 as an alternate version of himself. This film is one that fans have been waiting for because it looks like this is how Tobey Maguire Spider-Man returns after several years of not being shown in live-action.
Marvel Studios has a huge homework to do to make the Fantastic Four as successful as it was with No Way Home. The MCU Fantastic Four will officially be released in theaters on November 8, 2024, kicking off Phase 6 of the MCU.
Rumors For Fantastic Four Cast
While the film still has plenty of time to think about something or plan, rumors about the director have just been shared beforehand. But the good thing is, these aren’t just rumors, WandaVision’s Matt Shakman is in early talks to direct the upcoming blockbuster.
While the person was breaking news and potentially confirmed as soon as September’s D23 Fan Expo, something else was revealed as well. While John Krasinski is still baffling fans and Bryce Dallas Howard making it clear that the cast of Sue Storm for him is just a rumour, Actor Drew Powell also makes an appearance here.
Drew revealed that he wanted himself to want to join the MCU with a significant role, and Ben Grimm aka The Thing was a potential fit. Through Twitter, he campaigned to play the role of Ben Grimm/The Thing for the MCU’s Fantastic Four.
On August 26, Powell posted a GIF version of the “Fantastic Four #51” cover from June 1966, which features the front and center of The Thing in the image.
And with Powell being one of the few big names campaigning for this particular role, it could be a fierce battle as to who will be the MCU’s next big thing. Fantastic Four is slated to hit theaters on November 8, 2024.
