John Krasinski MCU Fans Are Worried after the things that the director of the new sequel Doctor Strange said something sounded like deciding the fate of the cast of Mister Fantastic.
As you know, MCU fans have had more than enough great character recognition thanks to the use of the Multiverse in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. One of them is all the characters we get to see for the first time, following John Krasinski’s thrilling performance as Reed Richards, and also showing us the first look at the Fantastic Four.
Why John Krasinski MCU Fans Are Worried?
Fantastic Four solo films set in the future, this one also features four members consisting of Mister Fantastic, Human Torch, Difficult Storm, and also The Thing or what we can call a stone man.
Picking Krasinski as the role of Mister Fantastic is a good thing, it’s an exciting fan wish. It is the same thing as when Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire in the new Spider-Man movie that was released previously in theaters as well as on the Disney Plus show.
As you know, Krasinski has become one of the most popular choices in casting fans for the role of Mr. Fantastic, and he’s been a part of the rumors surrounding the MCU for the past three years.
While fans are getting excited for him, the worst thing is coming from Doctor Strange 2 director, Sam Raimi. Report thedirect.com In the audio commentary for Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, director Sam Raimi comments on John Krasinski’s casting as Reed Richards.
“It’s so funny that Kevin [Feige] cast John [Krasinski] because the fans had a dream of who the perfect Reed Richards would be. And because this is an alternate universe, I think Kevin said, ‘Let’s make that dream come true.’ I’ve always really enjoyed all of his performances.’”
Raimi’s particular words have some fans worried that Krasinski was only cast because of his role in an “alternative universe” to fulfill fans’ dreams, worried that such a decision would imply that the actor might not return to play Richards from Earth-616.
While Doctor Strange managed to introduce us to the Multiverse, there’s still a lot of work to be done to bring the Fantastic Four to the big screen in the MCU. Worrying things followed after the loss of director Jon Watts. The MCU had to find another director to handle that future project.
The main cast of characters that will be included in the fan-favorite film is still unknown. Still unknown, it hasn’t had an official release since it was first announced in December 2020. Plus, you can enjoy the show that brought it to life for the first time, Doctor Strange 2 which is available on Disney Plus now.
