The MCU Thunderbolts are one of the most talked-about fans right now, in the community, rumors or anything else related. It’s natural for fans to think about it, Thunderbolt has become a topic of conversation for many MCU fans even more so after so many series that brought characters related to that have been released.
As we know, the MCU has revealed that US Agent played by Wyatt Russell and Yelena Belova played by Florence Pugh appear in Phase 4, even if it’s from a Disney Plus movie or series. Then, after months of speculation, it’s now confirmed that it actually happened. A Thunderbolts film has been confirmed to be in development with Jake Schreier directing.
MCU Thunderbolts Members and More Potential Characters
Following the comics, perhaps not all of them, the team is brought together by General Thunderbolt Ross as a group of antiheroes who do the dirty work the Avengers don’t. The team was mostly reformed by someone and the people who put it in trouble before, and for scary things, there were super villains before it.
The MCU version of the squad will probably be led by Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. It will be led by General Ross, but as we know the cast for him is William Hurt having passed away earlier this year.
As part of a report revealing Thunderbolts director Jake Schreier, Deadline hints at who might join the cast of this upcoming MCU film. Some of the names that the outlet came up with included Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova), Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes), and Daniel Brühl (Baron Zemo).
In addition to these three characters, the other characters listed are Ghost, Taskmaster, The Abomination, and U.S. agents. Deadline notes that all details are unclear at this time as the film is in early development with no signed actors to star in.
Variety also reported on a potential cast, speculating that Clint Barton’s Jeremy Renner and Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus, could also appear.
Speculation has it that this one will be a movie like Suicide Squad from the DC Universe but made by the Marvel Studios version. Can you imagine? Maybe, it’s still funny like Suicide Squad, but a little bit of a brutal scene that is just right for teenagers.
