You can make your own food in Valheim. Of course, these foods have different beneficial effects and are very useful for survival. Previously we talked about the Cooking Station. To make more elaborate meals, you need a Cauldron. So, now we will discuss about how to make Cauldron in Valheim.

What is Valheim Cauldron?

It is one of the structures that you can find in Valheim. The Cauldron is used to create mead bases and food items. Later, Mead Bases need to be put into the Fermenter, to create the corresponding mead potions.

Crafting:

  • Barley wine base: Fire resistance
  • Blood pudding
  • Bread
  • Fish wraps
  • Lox meat pie
  • Mead base: Frost resistance
  • Mead base: Medium healing
  • Queens jam
  • Sausages
  • Mead base: Minor healing
  • Mead base: Medium stamina
  • Carrot soup
  • Turnip stew
  • Mead base: Minor stamina
  • Mead base: Poison resistance
  • Serpent stew
  • Mead base: Tasty

Recipe

Cauldron is unlocked when you are discovering Tin. Here the required materials to make it:

  • Tin (10)

You can craft it with hammer and you also need the Forge.

How to Make Cauldron in Valheim

If you want to make a Cauldron in this game, you can follow the instruction below:

Total Time: 5 minutes

Open Hammer Menu

First, equip the hammer from the inventory. Then, click RMB to open the hammer crafting menu.

Choose Crafting Tab

When the menu opened, select the “crafting” tab. You can press the [Q/E] to swipe the tab.

Choose Cauldron

Choose the Cauldron from the building list. When you select it, you will see the cauldron recipe. You only need 10 tin ingots to make it.

Since this is a tool for cooking, you must place this structure over a source of fire such as a Campfire. To make it safe, place it in your house.
