In addition to Tobey Maguire who became one of Peter Parker’s icons, Andrew Garfield also has a special place in the hearts of fans. After the problems of the Multiverse brought him back to playing Spider-Man, fans wanted to take another look at the MCU’s future. So, will Andrew get the role back?
Will Andrew Garfield Return to the MCU?
Based on new footage from the video titled Heroes Reunited, that comeback looks more likely than ever. In a recent clip, the three icons talk about their roles and then show Peter 3 from Andrew Garfield expressing his desire to reunite with his fellow Peters.
Andrew said something that reinforces the possibility with that statement, not just an exciting pleasure. In the clip, Peter 3 tells Tobey Maguire’s Peter 2 “we have to do this again,” to which Maguire replies “You get it.”
All three are excited to join forces in No Way Home, with Garfield noting how great it was to “honor the Multiverse’s lineage” with their inclusion in the story.
Interestingly, this one dialogue opens the door to a possible comeback if Sony and Marvel decide to revisit the Amazing Spider-Man scene in the MCU.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is now available to watch at home. The More Fun Stuff Version of the film will hit theaters starting Friday, September 2 in the United States.
