Captain Marvel 2 Update

There is something new from Captain Marvel 2 Update because it is one of the many MCU projects that will be part of MCU phase 4. As the main character who plays the main character in this film, Brie Larson returns as Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel. But this time, the main hero will have more allies than usual.

The film, titled The Marvels, will bring together Carol Danvers with new and old heroes, namely Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), aka Ms. Marvel, Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson). So what new updates can we know about this project?

Captain Marvel 2 Update

The exact plot adapted in this film is still a secret, but we can see a lot of references to it, from the comic book that marks it all together. But it is widely expected that it will be a cosmic adventure that will also give Kamala and Monica their own chance to shine.

For those of you who missed it, the Captain Marvel sequel has been pushed back to July 2023, even though the production has already been completed. It also means it’s only a matter of time before traditional reshoots will begin.

The update to this one comes from Nich Furry’s cast, Samuel L. Jackson. In an interview, when asked about Disney Plus Secret Invasion, he just likes to play around. Then, the topic in question turned to The Marvel as a sequel to Captain Marvel.

The Marvels is scheduled to premiere in theaters on July 28, 2023, as a new release date after being delayed previously. Make sure you keep this in mind and be ready to get hype from other MCU fans including your friends.

Another Tease Thing About The Marvels

We still don’t know if this film will connect Doctor Strange to the problems of the Multiverse, or if it’s going to be very different. Sam Raimi, director of the latest MCU film, also mentioned the reshoot for the MCU sequel, saying it was used to ensure that fans understand all the concepts in a story that has as many moving parts as this one.

Veteran filmmakers also point out that it’s used to expand on a moment that fans in theaters have really responded well to. But of course, Nick Furry the character played by Samuel L. Jackson will return to the role for important things. Or as it happened before, he will just make them all meet, following Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan who gather in this film.

But as we know, he’s no longer the director of SHIELD, and he’s on the moon for things we don’t know for sure. Maybe we’ll see a new MCU villain named Zawe Ashton. But earlier, Jackson also shared a cryptic tease about his MCU future, saying that his return in Secret Invasion and The Marvels would feature a “story evolution,” along with a “story devolution.”

The reshoot could be Nick Fury-centric, with scenes revolving around the former SHIELD director’s transformation after the Infinity Saga. What do you think, this is a good thing or still not important?
