Deadpool is one of many members of the X-Men and the film will certainly not be rebooted. Still, Deadpool 3 may not be part of Marvel Studios’ massive San Diego Comic-Con announcement, but Avengers fans have Merc with a high Mouth on their anticipated arrival list.
Marvel Studios is currently in the early stages of development for Deadpool 3 as the writing team plots how it will make its long-awaited MCU debut.
Rob Liefeld Teases Avengers Cameo in Deadpool 3
Writer Rhett Reese teased the idea of the film being a “fish-out-of-water” story for the MCU’s newest mutants, allowing him to interact with the Avengers after only knowing about them beforehand through the four’s antics.
All of this anticipation begs the question – how will Deadpool actually interact with the Avengers when they meet? According to its creators, it will definitely be something to look forward to.
Speaking with ComicBook.com, Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld teased an upcoming interaction between Wade Wilson and the Avengers at Marvel Studios’ Deadpool 3.
At San Diego Comic-Con, Liefeld shared his excitement at the idea of seeing Deadpool alongside the big names of the MCU. Notably mentioning Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man, Deadpool creators wanted to see those interactions come to life:
In addition to these MCU heroes, Liefeld also wants to see the return of X-Force from Deadpool 2, especially Domino Zazie Beetz and Josh Brolin’s Cable. No matter who Deadpool actually meets in Deadpool 3, there’s no doubt that it will come with as many laughs as any MCU film to date.
Deadpool 3 is in the early stages of development for release in the MCU. About this character, anything can happen, what’s more, he can also get past reality and commit suicide as one of the peak comedy parts.
