The new version of Hulk as a Marvel Cinematic Universe Character that still exists and has a place in the hearts of some fans, looks very different compared to the first version introduced in his solo film. In the past, we saw Bruce Banner as a sad and angry person, but now he is clearly different.
Bruce Banner has many stories, one of which is the MCU as a live-action character, starting from how he got the story with Natasha and even fought with Iron-Man and Thor. Then, not much has been seen since his time as Professor Hulk in Avengers: Endgame.
Nerf Hulk Makes Him Look Weaker
While the Hulk is gearing up for a new Disney Plus series called She-Hulk, there may come a time when he’ll get another chance, meaning a possible retirement. But that’s just a theory, the huge potential to bring him back is set to reinsert himself into the MCU as he featured prominently in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law this summer and may still be set into the future of another MCU film.
But what we are going to investigate here is about Hulk getting nerfed and seems to make him weaker than before. He seems to have left his bespectacled green persona in the rearview mirror, at least for now.
Judging from his posture alone, the Hulk looks shorter than before, this also makes fans wonder if the Hulk has lost strength and other strengths. But the Russo Brothers told everything and answered about this.
In a new video on WIRED, Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo answer various internet questions about their Marvel Studios work, including why they shut down the MCU Hulk.
When asked why the two of them “hate the Hulk,” they both jokingly responded by saying that they were “annoying the Hulk” and “don’t know what to do with him” in Avengers: Endgame. That is, it looks like the Hulk in the Angry version makes it difficult for both of them to write and build the whole story.
