Thor: Love and Thunder’s released some time ago in theaters. Chris Hemsworth’s fourth solo adventure sees him face off against one of the iconic comic book villains God of Thunder in Gorr the God Butcher, played by veteran superhero actor Christian Bale.
Bale is just one of many A-list stars in Thor: Love and Thunder, which brings a new character back to the screen. Thor 4 sees superhero Hemsworth reuniting with his ex-girlfriend Jane Foster, played by Natalie Portman, who wields a hammer as Mighty Thor. Tessa Thompson will also return as the newly crowned King of Valkyrie alongside Thor: Ragnarok breakout star Korg, brought to life by director Taika Waititi.
Christian Bale Reveals Cut Scenes From Thor 4
In an interview with Prensaescenario, Christian Bale talked about working with other members of the Thor: Love and Thunder cast.
After praising the performances of Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, and Tessa Thompson, Bale revealed that he’s also teamed up with previous MCU stars Peter Dinklage and Jeff Goldblum. However, the actor said their scene “wasn’t in the last film” even though it was a “beautiful and brilliant thing”.
It’s hard to believe that the Thor: Love and Thunder cast could be more star-studded, but according to Bale it is.
Both Peter Dinklage and Jeff Goldblum have appeared in Marvel films alongside Thor in the past. Dinklage stars in Avengers: Endgame as Eitri, the king of the Dwarves who helps Thor forge his Stormbreaker weapon. Goldblum appears in Thor: Ragnarok as the eccentric Grandmaster who pits Thor and the Hulk in his arena in Sakaar.
Both were rumored or alluded to in previous films, but neither fan has confirmation that the two MCU characters won’t be returning — that is, unless they step into deleted Blu-ray scenes.
Dinklage and Goldblum’s appearances aren’t the only things that have been cut from Thor: Love and Thunder. Chris Hemsworth revealed in an interview that Thor had a dance scene in the film set to an ABBA tune, but it didn’t make it to the screen.
