Toy Story 4 will be released soon this weekend. This movie opening is initially projected to gross $200 million domestically, which will break the record $182.7 million of Incredible 2 in 2018. However, the current prediction from Box Office Pro stated that it probably won’t make it.

Produced by Pixar Animation Studios, Toy Story 4 will undoubtedly be a big success like its three predecessors. Pixar’s movies dominate the list of highest-grossing animated films with its Incredible 2 at the top. Even though the current prediction states that the movie will only make around $140 to $170 million in its domestic opening, it is still the best among others for being in the second place.

The perfect releasing timing also makes Toy Story 4 worthy to wait. The current movies played in the box office, such as Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Dark Phoenix, and Men in Black: International didn’t succeed to attract a large number of viewers. These three even got relatively negative welcomes. On the other hand, Toy Story 4 already received generally praises and even Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.

Compared to another recently released animated movie, The Secret Life of Pets 2, which gave disappointment for its fans, Toy Story fans in contrast are waiting for Woody’s and the gang’s action. Thus, even Toy Story 4 will not break the record, it will satisfy the box office need.
