Following the completion of the event Ms. Marvel Disney Plus, a lot of things are coming and being rumored from the MCU. Unfortunately, things about the X-Men are still being kept under wraps by Marvel Studios, even more so when it wasn’t announced at The Marvel Studios Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
But even though a new X-Men 97 animated series is in the works and Deadpool 3 is in the works, Marvel fans are eagerly awaiting the MCU’s live-action against Professor Xavier’s talented kids. Many thought Feige withheld that info until D23.
So, What Will Happen to Marvel Studios’ X-Men?
According to journalists and former Birth. Film. Dead. editor-in-chief Devin Faraci, via Cinema Sangha, the reason the mutants weren’t announced at Marvel’s Hall H panel is that Marvel Studios can’t make their X-Men movies until at least 2025 due to “the contract situation with the original Fox stuff:”
Whether this information is correct remains to be seen. However, if this is the case, it’s worth noting that Marvel Studios seems to be sticking to the parameters of the contract so far.
When asked if Marvel Studios would be able to announce their mutant-related projects and cast at D23 in September, Faraci acknowledged that Marvel had “like nine open spots in Phase 6” but no one “will see mutants until Phase 7:”
But the huge potential for all the X-Men or Mutant rumors might actually be answered at Marvel Studios’ D23 panel on September 10.
If Kevin Feige doesn’t announce an X-Men movie or other X-Men-related project before 2025, it’s likely X-Men fans will have to wait until the end of the Multiverse Saga before a new Wolverine or Magneto appears. MCU debut.
