Since the Avenger event was first shown, we can see and realize what the relationship between Tony Stark and Thor is like. Now, Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr. is no longer around, at least confirmed by a published deal.
Now, Chris Hemsworth will return as Thor in his own film, namely Thor: Love & Thunder as the 4th sequel to IP Marvel in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is one of the important character parts of the Avengers, to be precise he has interacted with almost all the superheroes in the MCU.
And in the final event of defeating Thanos, the relationship Thor has developed with, Tony Stark and Steve Rogers are often the most closely related friends. The third scene also became an iconic piece for MCU audiences in theaters or other platforms. But another point of view has just been expressed by Chris Hemsworth in several interviews.
About Tony Stark and Thor Relationship
Chris Hemsworth shares his great friendship moments with Captain America Steve Rogers, but his interactions with genius, billionaire, playboy, and philanthropist Robert Downey Jr. are not always so friendly. So what’s the problem between the two of them?
Reports from thedirect.com, based on a recent interview with ComicBook, Chris Hemsworth and Thor: Love and Thunder director Taika Waititi talk about Thor’s relationship with another tentpole character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While Thor, Tony Stark, and Steve Rogers are widely considered the MCU’s “Big Three,” Hemsworth believes there is some favoritism within the group:
“I don’t know that Tony was ever very nice to Thor… [Thor] was the butt of every joke. He wasn’t. Cap was always a little more kind of friendly know. Offscreen, Chris Evans can… Down is the man.”
But this is a common and normal thing, because other superheroes like Bruce Banner always have a problem with him, and get into fights even over small things. And as for Tony Stark, he might get a bit of animosity for Loki making trouble on earth.
If Marvel Studios wants to see the Avengers on the other side of Thor’s massive powerhouse, there are a lot of priorities. Iron Monger, Whiplash, Aldrich Killian, Ultron, Vulture, and Mysterio all stem from a hatred of Tony Stark. And he never called any of them “Point Break.” However, it was just a small joke and Tony Stark did a lot of great stuff until the end.
