All gamers expect to play their favorite games with maximum quality. However, many games are constrained by their system requirements which are usually too high. That is also the case with the latest Resident Evil titles. Therefore, now we will talk about how to increase the FPS in Resident Evil Village.

At least you need a minimum specification to play this game. For that, let’s cover all of them below.

Resident Evil Village Minimum Specifications

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-7500 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200.
  • RAM: 8 GB.
  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit.
  • VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 560.
  • PIXEL SHADER: 5.1.
  • VERTEX SHADER: 5.1.
  • DEDICATED VIDEO RAM: 4096 MB.

With the spec, you might still possibly run into some problems. There are several settings that you can change to make the game run smoother.

How to Increase FPS in Resident Evil Village

Update Video Card Driver

The first thing you have to do is upgrading the latest drivers from the source. The latest GPU firmware will help and support PC performance. Meanwhile, Subsurface Scattering is an arrangement to regulate how light is refracted onto different surfaces. You can activate this feature to get a high FPS in Resident Evil Village.

Ray-Tracing and Shadow

Ray-Tracing does require super GPU hardware. Indeed, this feature will make the graphic display of the game more realistic, but it will also burden PC performance. So, turn off your ray tracing as this is a way gamers often do to get better FPS. Shadow also takes up a lot of PC performance to render it first. Set Shadow to its lowest setting.

Rendering Mode

Set the Rendering Mode to Interlaced. Switching this setting from normal to Interlaced can give your PC as much as 30 FPS. However, you will lose the visual quality.

So, that is how to increase FPS in Resident Evil Village. The game is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam. If you want more RE Village Guides, you can comment below.
