Ms. Marvel Season 2 by The Writers

Ms. Marvel has finally introduced a new hero into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the form of Kamala Khan from Iman Vellani. While the show’s debut episode is still grounded in terms of character origin stories, the series’ finale leads to Kamala’s big-screen appearance in The Marvels alongside Captain Marvel Brie Larson and Monica Rambeau of Teyonah Parris.

However, fans are still wondering if the character will return to the small screen for a potential second season or if he will stick with the other heroes on the big screen.

Season 2 Potentially by the Author

The possibility of seeing a second season for the Disney+ MCU show has long been a fan topic. Among all the shows, Loki and What If…? is the only series to have so far received a Season 2 update. However, there was previous evidence that Ms. Marvel could receive a second season.

Official merchandise for the show featured the text “Season 1” in its design, indicating that multiple seasons were being considered. A similar scenario has been found for She-Hulk, which could potentially hint that the two shows could be renewed by House of Mouse.

Now, the show’s producers have discussed the potential Season 2 of Ms. Marvel in a new interview. Producer Ms. Marvel’s Sana Amanat sat down with Screen Rant to talk about the possibility of seeing a second season for the series led by Iman Vellani.

When asked about Vellani’s future and whether there will be more seasons Ms. Marvel, Amanat said he hoped “there was”, while also confirming that the event was “styled as a limited series:”

In a separate interview with Deadline, Amanat was asked the same question, but he indicated that he wasn’t sure if there would be a Season 2. However, MCU producers revealed that Ms. Marvel was designed to lead Kamala’s appearance in The Marvels, but she revealed that she doesn’t know what will happen in the Captain Marvel sequel.

Kamala Khan’s MCU future is expected to hinge on her big-screen adventures in The Marvels, meaning that a potential second season for Ms. Marvel will likely be given an update right after the upcoming sequel. The same treatment can happen to other characters in the Disney+ MCU, such as Moon Knight and She-Hulk. If you missed the new episode, the show has just reached its fourth episode.
