In the wide world of Old School Runescape, there’s a wealth of items that we can obtain that can benefit us. Some will help us earn more OSRS gold, or help us to slay demons and even raise our skill levels. There is a rather unique form of attire that we can get our hands on too, which is known as the Quest Point Cape. Today we will be taking a look at what we need to do to get the cape, and what it can do.
How to Get the Quest Point Cape
If you want to get your very own cape, then the simple way of putting the method is to complete every quest. This doesn’t include miniquests, but you will need to have finished any main quests that the game has to offer you. You can go to the Wise Old Man over in Draynor Village to buy the cape. You shouldn’t have to worry about having to buy OSRS gold to afford it, as long as you have 99,000 OSRS GP to pay for it. This is where you can get the hood as well.
If you are going to use this method of getting the cape, then you will need to be a member. You do have the opportunity to talk to the Wise Old Man if you have an F2P account, but you won’t actually be able to purchase the cape itself.
About the Cape
So now we can take a look at what the cape can actually do for us. Firstly, it can teleport you to the Legends’ Guild gates as many times as you’d like. This can be very helpful, as it’s only second to using a fairy ring to get close to it. Not only that, but you will see the reduction of the cost of dreams in the Nightmare Zone, which drops by 10,000 OSRS gold. Meanwhile, if you are working through the elite tasks that are in the Lumbridge & Draynor Diary, then you can use the quest cape emote when you are in the Old Man’s house to tick a task off.
You can also trip the cape if you wish. To do so, you are going to have to complete all of the achievement diaries. This will earn you the achievement diary cape too. If a new quest is brought into the game, then you will see the cape being unequipped. You won’t be able to equip the cape again until that new quest has been finished. Don’t worry if your inventory is full when your cape is unequipped, as it will be banked. However, if both the inventory and bank are full, then you are going to have to purchase the cape from the Wise Old Man again. If this is a common occurrence, then you might want to consider finding some OSRS gold for sale.
If you want the Quest Point Cape (t), then you will have to complete all of the achievement diaries. This will help you towards the untrimmed version of the cape as well. That said, you are going to need to get the Quest Point Cape first anyway. This is because it is a requirement for you completing the Lumbridge & Draynor Elite diary. So firstly, we are going to have to get the untrimmed version of the cape. It has a must to do before we can get the Quest Point Cape (t).
Level Requirements
There are numerous level requirements needed to get this cape. For example, you will need to be at level 50 in attack, hitpoints, strength, and prayers. Level 55 is also required in runecrafting, as well as level 60 in thieving, ranged and fletching. You should also get the following skills up to level 70, though some may be obtainable at slightly lower levels: smithing, herblore, defence, fishing, cooking, crafting, firemaking, slayer, OSRS farming, construction and hunter. There’s a few that will need you to go beyond level 70 as well. These include woodcutting, mining and magic. The highest skill level you need to get is your combat level, which will need to be at 85.
That’s everything you need to get your hands on your very own Quest Point Cape. Remember to have some OSRS gold spare so that you can purchase it when necessary. It’s going to take a lot of effort to get it. But, you will be the envy of your friends when you do.
