She-Hulk was the next place for Mark Ruffalo to appear after making a cameo in the first Shang-Chi film. Earlier, Mark Ruffalo Gives Hints On When He Retired From MCU, which means it will follow the fate of Tony Stark or Steve Rogers. Short in duration, the Hulk had a small part of the Disney Plus She-Hulk show.
Instead of making the final piece of She-Hulk, Mark Ruffalo will take a key part of the next Phase perhaps for the match chosen by Maravel Studios. However, Ruffalo has discussed what will happen next for his MCU character after his significant inclusion in his cousin’s origin story.
Mark Ruffalo Intended for Retirement?
Based on an interview with Variety, Mark Ruffalo spoke about something that could be bad news for us as fans. Hulk actor teases about his MCU future as a member of the Avengers. As we know, only the Hulk with Thor and Hawkeye are left.
When asked when he would retire from his Hulk role, Ruffalo admitted he didn’t know, pointing out that he was “always surprised” that he was still involved with the MCU.
Ruffalo made his MCU debut as Bruce Banner in 2012’s The Avengers, helping Earth’s Mightiest Hero defeat Tom Hiddleston’s Loki and Chitauri. When asked how much he has evolved since then, the actor reflected on his “long journey”, touching on how his personal life has changed a lot over the years and how he has applied many different dimensions of himself to his character.
While every Marvel hero story has to end at some point, giving the Hulk a proper goodbye is a challenge the studio will have to work through in the end.
