Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumia is on the horizon and fans can’t wait to see what Marvel Studios has in store for the MCU’s changing size group. The three Ant-Man sequels will return to focus on Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang and Evangeline Lilly’s Hope Van Dyne as they take on the multiverse villain, Kang the Conqueror.
Kang will be played by Jonathan Majors of Lovecraft Country, who will reprise his role from Loki last summer. Rudd and Lilly will get help to fight the evil Kang, when Cassie Lang (played by Kathryn Newton) steps into battle alongside the two Avengers. Not much has been revealed for the film yet, but the first look was just shown at Comic-Con.
New Ant-Man 3 Costume for Scott Lang Revealed
As part of the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumia poster that was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con, fans first got a look at the new suits for the titular little Avenger by Paul Rudd and Wasp Evangeline Lilly. But on the other hand, the trailer for the film has just been revealed by someone on YouTube.
The suit appears to have the same red-black/yellow-and-blue color scheme as familiar characters, but looks a little bigger than before. The Quantummania suit appears to include layered armor-like cuts along the shoulders, chest, forearms, and legs – a stark contrast to the straight, bold fabric seen earlier.
This older suit is slightly upgraded in Ant-Man and the Wasp adds a bit of texture to the front of the outfit. The full teaser poster can be seen below:
The costumes are very similar to the previous films but look made for some heavy blows. The extra weight for clothing is justifiable as Team Ant-Man will likely traverse the Quantum Realm more than ever before – something fans know isn’t easy on the body.
Quantumia is set to be the biggest (and possibly best) Ant-Man film to date, so it makes sense for the titular hero to have this enhanced appearance. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumia will hit theaters on February 17, 2023.
