Prior to appearing in the biggest event Avengers: Kang Dynasty, he also had a role in the third Ant-Man film. One of Marvel Studios’ biggest projects next year will undoubtedly be Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
While the world has seen a lot of Ant-Man, Wasp is still relatively new to the superhero scene. He wore his suit in the second film but didn’t have much time after his debut to wear it, considering Hope snapped in The Blip. Luckily, he got some moments to shine in Avengers: Endgame.
The Actress Says About Differences Compared To Before
The actress under the character’s wing is now commenting on Hope’s past developments and what fans can expect from seeing this third adventure.
In several interviews for her upcoming appearance in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumia, Evangeline Lilly commented on how The Wasp’s journey in Quantumia will be different from her previous roles:
While speaking to Variety, the actress noted how “the second film is about how strong she is,” and the third “is about her vulnerability.”
Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, the actress explained how much she loved her character debut excluding the “fumbling around that you see in a lot of” superhero origins and that “she always seems to have the answer:”
While Hope seems to be thriving in the upcoming film, Scott Lang’s daughter will also join this time. Portrayed by Kathryn Newton, Cassie will eventually become a superhero herself in Quantumia. Given Lilly’s comments above, we have to ask, will her ascension to heroism be difficult or smooth? We can see soon. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumia will hit theaters next year on February 17, 2023.
