Find a Horse

Tame the Horse
Select an empty slot in your Hotbar. You will tame a horse by repeatedly trying to mount the horse, while it will buck you off. After some attempts, the horse will let you sit on it a bit longer. When the horse is tamed, you should see red hearts appear and the horse will no longer buck you off.
Put a Saddle on the Horse
After the horse is tamed, you can put a saddle on it. Select the saddle in your hot bar to do it. Then put the saddle. The inventory window will appear. Put the saddle on the horse’s equipment. When you return to the game, you should see the horse wearing the saddle.
Mount the horse
