In Minecraft, you can craft the transportation items. Furthermore, the players can also tame the mobs like Horse and find the Elytra that useful as same as the wing. The Elytra can’t make with crafting table or furnace in Minecraft. You need to find the item inside the End Ship in the End City.

Elytra Location
Like we said before, the Elytra can only found inside the End Ship. If you want to go there, you need to make an End Portal and enter the End Biome.

Find the End Ship
After entering the End Portal, you’ll transport to End City. Just search a floating boat that looks like a pirate ship. Climbing the building next to the ship makes you get there easier.
Battle the Guard
Enter the ship End and you will find elytra on the front of the boat hanging on the wall in the item frame. There will be guards between the two chests. Then, defeat the guardian with your sword.
Get the Elytra
Remove the elytra from the item frame by left-clicking. The item will pop up to the ground and take it before the elytra disappear.
Finish
Then, the item will be placed in your inventory. You can equip it to fly later.
